Groups Terms and Conditions

  1. Groups Overview
  • Description: Little Village Qld 2.0, is an indoor playcentre, workshop space designed to engage children ages 5 to 14 years old in hands-on, creative activities during the school holidays.
  • Location: The groups will be held at 108 Beaudesert Rd, Moorooka, Qld, with sessions running from 10.30am to 6.30pm weekdays.
  • Group Dates: These groups will be conducted during Queensland school holidays.
  1. Registration and Payment
  • Registration Process: To register, please complete the online form at the link below. Full registration details, including the participant’s name, age, any medical conditions, and an emergency contact number, must be provided.
  • Tickets are be purchased at the link below also.

Groups

  • Payment Terms: The group fees vary. Payment is required in full upon registration to secure a place. We accept cash, credit card, or online payment platforms.
  • Late Fees or Outstanding Balances: Payment must be completed prior to the start of the group. If payment is not received, the child’s place may be forfeited.
  1. Cancellation and Refund Policy
  • Cancellation by Organizer: In the event of group cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, insufficient registrations, or other factors, a full refund will be provided to all registered participants.
  • Cancellation by Participant:
    • Up to 2 Business Days Before Groups: Cancellations made 2 business days or more before the group start date are eligible for a full refund, minus a $5 administrative fee.
    • Less Than 2 Days Before Groups Start: Cancellations made less than 2 days before the group start date will not be eligible for a refund.
  1. Liability Waiver
  • Accident and Injury: Little Village Qld 2.0 and the group instructors are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages occurring during the workshop. By enrolling, parents/guardians accept the risks associated with workshop activities.
  • Personal Belongings: Little Village Qld 2.0 will not be responsible for lost or damaged personal items. Participants are encouraged to label belongings and avoid bringing valuables.
  1. Code of Conduct
  • Behaviour Expectations: Participants are expected to show respect to others and follow the instructor’s directions at all times. Bullying, aggressive behaviour, or vandalism will not be tolerated.
  • Consequences: If a participant displays disruptive or inappropriate behaviour, they may be removed from the group, and parents/guardians will be required to pick them up immediately. No refund will be provided in such cases.
  1. Health and Safety
  • Emergency Contacts: Parents/guardians must provide a current emergency contact number, including any additional authorized adults for pick-up.
  • Medical Conditions: Parents/guardians must disclose any relevant medical information, allergies, or specific needs. All reasonable steps will be taken to accommodate special needs; however, parents/guardians must take full responsibility for disclosing any critical information.
  • Medical Consent: In case of a medical emergency, the instructors may administer basic first aid. If more serious medical assistance is needed, Little Village Qld 2.0 will call emergency services, and parents/guardians will be contacted immediately.
  1. Photo and Media Release
  • Photos and videos may be taken during the group for promotional purposes. By enrolling, parents/guardians’ consent to Little Village Qld 2.0 using images or recordings of the participants for social media, marketing materials, and other promotional activities.
  • If you prefer that your child not be photographed, please notify us at [email protected] prior to the group start date.
  1. Data Protection and Privacy
  • Little Village Qld 2.0 respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. Data collected will be used solely for the purposes of running the group and will not be shared with third parties, in compliance with Queensland legislation.
  • Data retention will be limited to 7 years after the group for administrative purposes and tax purposes  unless otherwise required by law.
  1. Late Drop-off and Pick-up Policy
  • Drop-off and Pick-up: Participants must be dropped off no earlier than 5 minutes before the group start time and picked up no later than 5 minutes after the end of the workshop.
  • Late Pick-up Fees: A late fee of $50 may apply if a participant is not picked up on time. Repeated lateness may result in dismissal from the group.
  1. Agreement
  • By registering your child for this group, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. This agreement is binding once the registration form is submitted and payment is made.
